CALIBRATION & TESTING ENGINEER

The C&T Engineer is fully qualified to perform all installation activities. Leads and owns the Power-on & Calibration phases of installation, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. Meets all quality, cost, and lead-time/cycle-time objectives. Drives customer satisfaction through to Install Complete and turnover to the customer.

  • 1. Perform sensor and vibration controller calibration and vibration testing with accordance to ISO17025 accreditation standard.

    2. Ensure the quality and validity of data obtained during calibration of sensor and vibration controller and vibration testing.

    3. Calculate and update the uncertainty of measurement of sensor and vibration controller calibration and vibration testing

    4. Ensure that all necessary hardware and software for calibration are maintained, calibrated, and ready to use.

    5. Ensure that all documents required per ISO17025 are documented and available when needed.

    6. Review the SOP of sensor and vibration controller calibration and create necessary adjustment to improve the efficiency of calibration process.

    7. Create, review, and modify the SOP of vibration testing to improve the efficiency of calibration process.

    8. Review new testing standard to extend the scope of accreditation based on request from Sales Department.

    9. Develop new methods of calibration for extending the scope of accreditation based on request from Sales Department.

    10. Appointed as one of the signatory members for the calibration reports.

    11. Provide sufficient information for Sales Department to ensure that customer understand the information need to be provided to the laboratory for smooth testing process.

  • 1. Diploma/ Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 1+ years of experience.

    2. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

    3. Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

    4. Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects.

    5. Willing to work overtime as necessary to complete the project.

    6. Good proficiency in English and Chinese language (both spoken & written).

    7. A team player with positive energy and influence.
